This great tank driving experience gives you the opportunity to live out those boyhood fantasies as you learn how to drive 17 tons of hardened steel! You’ll quickly learn the basics from an experienced instructor. Once you’ve got to grips with piloting the beast, it’s time to try tackling the obstacle course, with hatches open and your head out. Then, if you’re feeling confident, try driving the tank with hatches closed seeing only through your periscopes for the ultimate thrill! Location: Leicestershire (Midlands)

Take part in an exciting race and skill challenge… on JCB dumpers! This thoroughly unique racing day calls for co-ordination and nerve. You will take part in at least two race heats against your competitors and the clock, with the fastest times qualifying to reach the Grand Final. The winner of the Grand Final will receive a certificate to commemorate their victory. It’s a driving experience you’ll be talking about for ages afterwards! Location: Kent (South East), Co. Spend a day at Diggerland, home of JCB driving fun! During the day you will spend two hours getting to grips with a top of the range JCB 3CX backhoe loader. This is certainly an experience not to be missed and gives you the opportunity to get behind the wheel of an 8.5 ton beast and learn to dig some serious dirt – then make the most of the rest of Diggerland’s rides and drives. Get a taste of the action and put your driving to the test on the battlefield! This superb venue offers a huge range of military vehicle driving, and this experience will get you behind the wheel of an Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC)*, a Bedford Army Lorry, and an army Landrover or Hagglund. Location: Leicestershire (Midlands)

You can get into the driving seat of the machines that shape our world, from minidiggers to articulated dump trucks, you will have the chance to dig, doze and dump. Next time you see one of these machines you don’t have to wonder what it would be like to drive one! This experience includes a half-day session driving a 25 ton 6×6 articulated dump truck followed by a minidigger, a mid range excavator and finishing with a bulldozer. Location: Hampshire (South)

After a safety briefing you’ll find yourself at the controls of three amazing military vehicles. Then you’ll get to watch one side show, which could be a look at the weapons inside the armoury or SAS woodland patrol experience, depending on which is available. You’ll get to drive a Russian Gvozdika tank, a 432 Personnel Carrier and either a Lance Missile Carrier or Humvee (which was featured in the film Black Hawk Down). At the end of the day, the best driver gets to crush a car with a 56 ton Chieftain tank! Looking the part in a camouflage suit and helmet, you’re in for four solid hours of army fun. Your day will include driving at least 4 Military Vehicles, plus a selection of other military related exercises. You will learn to fire a Flintlock Musket and a 17th century Mortar – then pit your new found skills against the other contestants. Attend a briefing about modern terrorism and then compete at SAS skills in the woods. The Full Monty Day’s winner gets the chance to balance a 56ton Chieftain Main Battle Tank on top of a family saloon car! Life will never be the same again! Location: Northamptonshire (Midlands)

A chance to drive the only purpose built dual control monster truck in the world. Built as a Rock Crawler allowing for greater precision then its American counter-part, this Big-boys toy has 6ft 6 inch suspension and can negotiate even the most extreme terrain with real ease. Location: Bedfordshire (South East)

Hear the growl of a 7.5 litre US monster truck, with six foot tyres you may need a ladder to get to the driving seat but once there – you won’t want to leave! This is the climax of an action packed experience at this purpose designed course where you will also drive a European Spec monster truck (slightly smaller than its US brother) and a Kubota earth mover over demanding terrain.
