With three different trucks to test out, including the awesome Hi-Lux Euro Spec beast, this is a fantastic way to off road – big style! Including a stacked up Jeep that meanders over a hi-view green lane track, a jungle run in a raised Daihatsu and the Hi-Lux on a purpose built course – try your hand at taming these monsters. Your day will include driving at least 4 Military Vehicles, plus a selection of other military related exercises. You will learn to fire a Flintlock Musket and a 17th century Mortar – then pit your new found skills against the other contestants. Attend a briefing about modern terrorism and then compete at SAS skills in the woods. The Full Monty Day’s winner gets the chance to balance a 56ton Chieftain Main Battle Tank on top of a family saloon car! Life will never be the same again! Location: Northamptonshire (Midlands)

A chance to drive the only purpose built dual control monster truck in the world. Built as a Rock Crawler allowing for greater precision then it’s American counter-part, this big-boys toy has 6 ft 6 inch suspension and can negotiate even the most extreme terrain with real ease. Location: Bedfordshire (South East)

We’ve all seen them on TV but this is your chance to actually drive a full size American-spec monster truck and experience the magnificent feeling of pure power. With a 7.5 litre engine ‘Grizzly’ is the real deal and an absolute beast. After your briefing and an introduction to the truck, you’ll take the wheel for a warm up lap. You’ll need a stepladder to get into the cab of this 66 inch terra-tyred American monster! Attempt to reverse into a coned garage and then go on to drive a further practise lap. Next comes the bit you’ve been waiting for – drive the monster over the top of two police saloon cars – imagine the adrenaline rush! You’ll receive a laminated certificate with a photo of the American monster as a memento to show your friends and help you remember your day (not that you are ever likely to forget it).

Ever dreamed of being king of the road? Well here’s your chance to prove you can handle more than just a people carrier. Choose from one of three colossal vehicles: a juggernaut, a double decker bus or a fire engine. Pick the juggernaut for a 430HP articulated lorry, complete with 40ft box trailer. Or a fire engine which will be either a 13 tonne Dennis or a Scania 82 Fire Appliance. Or try the 10-tonne Leyland Atlantean or Volvo D10M double decker bus – both models stand at a huge 14ft and don’t forget you’ll have over 31ft of vehicle behind you! Courses begin with a familiarisation briefing of your vehicle of choice. Then move onto some of the challenges that you could expect when driving these workhorses – slaloms, roundabouts and reversing your vehicle into coned areas are just some of the options to test you. Taking control of any of these monsters requires skill and concentration, but with an experienced instructor by your side you can expect the drive of a lifetime!

This is the triathlon of massive vehicles. After your briefing, you’ll start off at the wheel of a hi-view jeep to warm up, before taking a British-spec monster truck over some tough, purpose-built terrain. You’ll also get to experience a deliberate sideways roll-over in a 4×4 buggy. Then it’s the bit you’ve been waiting for – you’ll need a stepladder to get into the cab of the full-spec, 66-inch terra-tyred American monster truck. When you’re ready, you’ll drive this amazing vehicle over the top of two saloon cars (they’ll be well and truly wrecked). Steering this 7.5 litre truck on a mission of destruction is a pure adrenaline rush. You will also receive a laminated certificate with a photo of the American monster as a memento to show your friends.

Test your nerve and co-ordination by steering a dumper truck around a specially-designed course in this out of the ordinary driving experience. After a safety briefing you’ll be introduced to your earth-moving truck for some training. The dumper is a hefty four wheel drive, go anywhere vehicle, weighing in at over a tonne. Despite its weight, you’ll be surprised just how agile and nippy this huge vehicle is. You’ll race your dumper around a pre-determined course, aiming to beat the other drivers and avoid penalties. Then the fastest drivers go head to head in the final for a goodie bag prize including, of course, a baseball cap! Roll up your sleeves and beat the opposition.

Now this is the height of cool. Forget about Ferraris, on this experience you get to race a giant excavator – a vehicle that very few people get the chance to drive. After a safety briefing, you’ll climb up behind the controls of an 8.5 ton JCB digger, capable of around 20mph (although when you’re in the cab it’ll feel a lot quicker). There’s hands-on training and at least two race heats over a specially-designed course, including some challenges to complete along the way, with the fastest drivers going through to the grand final. After the racing event has finished, feel free to enjoy the rides and drives in the park – everything is included.
